When I saw The Lord of the Rings for the first time in the cinema, the first thing I thought was:

“I would love to be Gimli fighting in first person in the Battle of Helm's Deep alongside my friends as Aragorn or Legolas.”

As a geek, I've been able to do that thousands of times on my computer, but with the keyboard and mouse it loses that epicness. What would be really cool would be to be able to wield the axe with my own hands and dive headlong into the orcs hord.

From this concept Red Helmet Experience was born.

Using virtual reality headsets and backpack PCs, we implemented an environment that allowed us to have multiple players in the same room. This led us to:

• Develop 4 LBVR games (2xPvE & 2xPvP games).
• Have 3 locations (2 in Barcelona and 1 in Madrid) with more than 21,000 players.
• Stream games where the audience could influence the game (Twitch Plays).
• Organize tournaments at major spanish video game events (Barcelona Games World, Gamergy, and Nice One) with more than 3,500 players in person.
• Appear in media such as TVE, Ubeat, or Ibai's show "Hoy no se Sale".
